AMESBURY HOLIDAY PARADE PARTICIPANT RULES AND REGULATIONS


  • ​ENTRY FEE OF $20 to participate must be paid prior to parade day, please CLICK HERE for payment details.
  • Participants must observe all rules and regulations and follow instructions of parade officials.
  • All floats and vehicles must arrive between 1:30pm and 2:30pm
  • All walkers must arrive between 2:30pm and 3:20pm and can be dropped off at the end of Greenleaf Street. 
  • Parade will start promptly at 3:30pm
  • NO VEHICLE will be allowed on Greenleaf Street to deliver parade participants.  NO EXCEPTIONS! ​
  • All floats MUST have a spotter beside the float.
  • Marching units may stop for a performance, no longer than 60 seconds
  • All children in a float must be securely seated while float is moving
  • We encourage costumes, however, NO PARTICIPANT DRESSED AS SANTA WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE
  • NO candy is to be thrown to parade spectators. Please adhere to this rule, or we will no longer be able to obtain insurance coverage. ​
  • Music is allowed ONLY to those who have previously indicated so in their registration form. Only Holiday Music allowed!​
  • No dogs allowed in the parade. Certified service animals are allowed.
